Description
Meandering Moose Lodging consists of a beautifully renovated log cabin lodge and five private cabins. Nestled in a birch forest under two miles from all the fun of downtown Talkeetna, we offer a range of accommodations to meet your travel needs. We are on the property and available to help make your stay at Meandering Moose Lodging your favorite stay of your entire Alaska trip!
Meandering Moose Lodge:
Our beautifully updated lodge has two suites and two lodge rooms, a full shared kitchen, common sitting area, and a large front deck with comfy furniture and fire tables. Out front is a common fire pit area to enjoy the long mild evenings of summer. You’ll want to check out the photos on our website of the gorgeous freshly renovated lodge!
Our Cabins:
Cozy Moose Cabin, an authentic Alaskan log cabin, was built by hand right here on the property. Cozy is a favorite for couples looking for a private, romantic getaway. Although it does not have running water, there is a bath house close by with a bathroom with shower. Cozy Moose also has it’s own firepit area.
Munchin Moose and Snoozin Moose Cabins are cute “tiny home” style cabins with kitchenettes, bathrooms, quality queen beds, and front porches to enjoy the long Alaskan summer days.
Mangy Moose Cabin is our largest cabin that sleeps up to 8 with two bedrooms on the second floor, a bath, living area with a futon and tv, and a full kitchen with everything needed to prepare all your meals.
A common firepit and picnic area are steps from the Mangy, Munchin, and Snoozin Moose cabins. You’ll find coffee, tea, and all the fixings for them in all of our accommodations, along with decks of cards, board games, and a variety of books. We strive to give our guests a clean, comfortable, homey atmosphere where they can relax and unwind between all the exciting activities offered in the area.
