The “Welcome to Beautiful Downtown Talkeetna” sign is one of the first things you see as you drive into town. Weather: Talkeetna enjoys warm summer weather with daily temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s, with a few days each summer into the 80’s and even low 90’s.

Live at Five! Concert Series

Every Friday evening, from 5-7 pm, you can enjoy a free concert in the Talkeetna Village Park. This is a family friendly even. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and come and enjoy musicians from all over Alaska and the lower 48! This program is sponsored by the Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce, local businesses and the Denali Arts Council. Live at Five! runs all summer long, beginning Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Be sure to come downtown early and do a little shopping and have a great meal!
