Why You Should Become a Member of the Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce.
Your Business Membership allows your business the benefits of having your business listed in the directory, which is visited by thousands upon thousands of potential clients each year. We advertise in many different publications such as the Talkeetna Visitor Guide the Mile Post and Bearfoots. We also attend the Anchorage and Fairbanks Sportsman shows. These are just some of the benefits you get with becoming a member.
The greater Talkeetna area is being impacted by an unprecedented surge of growth, creating many challenges
and opportunities. There is much work to be done in addressing these issues. You can be a part of that effort.
One of the main objectives of the Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce is to help determine our own future through
our collective efforts.
Through “networking” with other members, we gain the strength of knowledge. We are able to make more
informed choices and can voice our individual concerns to the group.
We can all work together to provide and maintain the best for the greater Talkeetna area by volunteering on
committees, performing research, staffing booths, attending meetings, posting notices, writing letters, making
phone calls, sharing information, implementing ideas, conducting or hosting meetings, and promoting
community spirit.
