Year round bed & breakfast with a view of Mt. McKinley on Scotty Lake in Trapper Creek, Alaska just off the Parks Highway on Petersville Road. Your hosts are Jeff and Janet, but most folks just call us the JJs.

All rooms have private entrances and bathrooms. Rate includes a homemade hot breakfast. Discounts for military (active & retired) and first responders (law enforcement, EMT and paramedic).

Trapper Creek is the “real Alaska” and is conveniently located on the Parks Highway. So, if you’re traveling to or from Denali National Park, Fairbanks, or Anchorage, North Country B&B is the place to stop. Or, if you want to get away from it all but not be too far from civilization, beautiful downtown Talkeetna is only about a 30-minute drive away. During warm weather, we usually have a fire going in the firepit down by the lake. It’s a great way to unwind. Relax, watch the eagles and beavers, and maybe a moose or two as they come down to the lake’s edge to eat and drink. We often get a nice fire going for our winter guests as well. No better way to warm up after a hard day of snowmachining! If the weather isn’t cooperating, spend some time in our “Ready Room.” Shoot some pool, watch a video, plan your next day’s events, or catch up on your email using our WiFi.
