Welcome to the Denali Overlook Inn – The finest Talkeetna Alaska Accommodations

Located only five miles from downtown Talkeetna, The Denali Overlook Inn Bed and Breakfast and Cabin are situated on the tip of a spectacular bluff which provides unobstructed views of Mt. McKinley (Denali) (20,320′), Mt. Foraker (17,400), & Mt. Hunter (14,573). It sits high above the Birch Creek wetlands, offering panoramic views of the Alaska Range to the west and the Talkeetna Mountains to the east.

Enjoy our Inn during the winter, when we have outstanding views of the northern lights, or aurora borealis. It is the ultimate place for a romantic wedding or to seek a peaceful stay in a spectacular wilderness setting.

We serve a hearty FULL breakfast, which is included in the rates.

Our accommodations feature a total of five private bedrooms & cabin; all accompanied by their own private bath. Each room has shampoo/conditioner, soap, a hairdryer and WiFi, but if you forget anything feel free to ask and see if we have it.

Each room offers a scenic view of mountains and has its own special qualities.

We have a dumbwaiter to carry your luggage and items to the floor you’ll be staying on.

When guests aren’t seeking the privacy of their own rooms, they are free to enjoy sitting
on the outside deck or sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmellows to go with the
Hershey’s Chocolate & Graham Crackers to make Smores.

Very nice Hosts and Good Views! Hosts Ron and Mable run the Denali Overlook Inn. They are a very nice couple with a fantastic property. We stayed at the Denali room which has the most amazing views of the mountain ANYWHERE in Talkeetna. The room was cozy and quite large. It has an upstairs loft which we did not use and a cute clawfoot tub like the old timey type with a curtain surround. Quite different. The breakfast was a la carte and made to your order. Ron and Mabel work very hard to make your stay the best ever. The only downside I could find was the dumbwaiter (never heard of that before) which takes your luggage up to your room. We were on the third floor. No big deal but unusual and thankful as we did not have to carry our luggage up the stairs. This property is nice and comfy. Although somewhat far from town (about 5 miles) is not a bad place if you want to stay away from everybody.

Best B & in Alaska! Outstanding B&B in every category. That is it period. So in order to fill up space to make this review legit I can add more words. Personal cell phone calls by Mabel in the middle of the night as a complementary aurora wakeup call, was what made this place unique.
