Should there be a giant cake with 100 candles? Who would blow them out? Give your input on what you want to see for Talkeetna's centennial celebration in 2016. Meeting at the Talkeetna Public Library from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Sponsored by the Talkeetna Historical Society.
Tunes start at the Fairview Inn around 9pm.
An authentic Filipino dinner will take place on at Susitna Valley High School from 5:30 to 8:00 pm, featuring homemade egg rolls, pancit (pun-sit), siopao (see-oh-pow) and and chicken afritada. Call 733-9300 for reservations. This dinner is a fundraiser for students going to Europe.

Take the mystery out of home baked bread...just in time for baking season! This class to be held at the Flying Squirrel Bakery Cafe, 1pm - 4pm, and is offered through the Alaska Folk School. Click on title above for more details.
It's a different take on the typical music jam. Imagine Bach, Mozart, Shubert and music from other composers in the classic persuasion. This group meets casually on Sundays at 4:30pm in the back room of the Roadhouse. Come play...come listen!
Fancy yourself quick-witted? Want to sharpen your acting skills? Folks ages 18 and up are welcome to attend a weekly Improv. workshop each Sunday, 5pm, at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar.
