We use solar power on sunny days and a can-not-be-heard diesel generator for a few hours on cloudy days. Make My Alaska Cabin your base camp in Talkeetna, from where you can explore the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, Denali State Park, and Denali National Park. Our guest cabin is located on a private 5 acre property just 20 minutes by car from downtown Talkeetna; with us as your only neighbors, and away from the airport and train noises of downtown Talkeetna lodgings.

Our handcrafted Alaska log cabin sits in a peaceful and quiet location. It is cozy, VERY clean, and equipped with a kitchenette, private bath with shower, Satellite-TV including HBO-channels, and a DVD-player. The upstairs has two beds (memory foam mattresses!) and a window facing the mountains. In front of your cabin is a fire pit, a charcoal-grill (and coal) and camping chairs. The little log cabin is perfect for two guests, but also sleeps up to four guests, if you make use of the sleeper-sofa downstairs. My Alaska Cabin is the perfect place to hide-out and relax, or be active with a variety of things to do in Talkeetna and surroundings. With our superb location close to several of the best trout fishing streams, we also provide lodging for clients of Just Fly Fish, offering guided wade-style fly fishing trips. Ask for our discounted rate when you book both cabin and fly fishing trip at the same time. We live here – we fish here.

Rates: $135/night based on a 2-person occupancy. Additional guests plus $20 each. Kids 8 years and younger stay for free. All prices plus 5% Mat-Su Borough Bed Tax.
